Plantiqa is a simple and easy-to-use application that provides a plant scanning feature. The App does not require:

Account registration
User sign-up
In-app purchases

You can use the App without providing personal identification details.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or require:

Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
Login credentials or account details
Payment or billing information
Personal identifiers such as address or date of birth

Plantiqa does not create user profiles or track users across apps.

3. Camera and Scanning Feature

The Services use your device’s camera or photo picker solely to enable plant scanning.

Images are used to provide identification and scan-related functionality.
Uploaded website images are sent securely to our plant-identification service provider for analysis.
Plantiqa does not use scan images for advertising or to build personal profiles.
Camera and photo access are used only with your permission.

Please upload plant photographs only. Do not upload images containing people, private documents, location details, or other sensitive information. Our identification provider may process and retain scan data according to its own service terms and privacy policy.

4. Automatically Collected Information

Plantiqa does not intentionally collect personal data. However, limited non-personal information may be collected automatically by the operating system or app distribution platforms, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store, including:

Device type and operating system version
App performance and crash reports

This information is anonymous and used only to improve app stability and performance.

5. Third-Party Services

Plantiqa does not integrate third-party advertising or cross-site tracking SDKs that build personal user profiles.

We use the OpenAI API to analyze plant photos submitted through the website scanner. The image, identification prompt, and limited technical request data are transmitted to OpenAI only to return an identification result. Our website endpoint sends these requests with API response storage disabled. OpenAI may process request data under its applicable API terms and privacy commitments. Platform-level services, such as app crash diagnostics provided by an app store, are governed by their respective privacy policies.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data. We share a submitted scan image with our identification provider only as needed to perform the plant-identification request.

7. Children’s Privacy

Plantiqa does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Because no personal data is collected at all, the App is safe to use by users of all ages.

8. Data Security

Although Plantiqa does not store personal data, we take reasonable measures to ensure the App operates securely and protects against unauthorized access or misuse.
